What This Service Includes

We prepare a Deed of Variation to formally document agreed changes to an existing tenancy agreement.

An Assured Periodic Tenancy (APT) is the new standard tenancy type under the Renters' Rights Act 2025, replacing the old Assured Shorthold Tenancy (AST) for new agreements from 1 May 2026.

Under the Renters' Rights Act 2025, any change to tenancy terms must be agreed in writing for it to be enforceable. Verbal agreements alone are not sufficient.

This service is designed for landlords and letting agents in England and Wales.
